Two new categories will be added to our standard prizes.
The DNA tells it all prize: This will be for the best deceased ancestor/ living descendant look alike. So get out those old photos. Or match two photos, e.g. a baby picture of your granddaughter and your mother’s baby pic.
The Contribution to Society prize: As you know, Levi and Sarah were involved in everything in Salisbury from their church and store to the school board. Their children and grandchildren were active in state and local politics, the American Legion, The VFW, and the Elks, became charter members of the Lion’s club, town burgess, etc. But whether family members stayed in or moved away from Salisbury, many have continued in the family tradition of giving to society by becoming educators, working in politics, volunteering their time, etc. So please nominate some family member who has made a contribution to society, either recently or over his/her lifetime. Bring your nominee’s name and a brief description of what he/she has done to the reunion, along with a photo or news article if you have one (press coverage is not a requirement to win!).
